Pumpkin Patch Time

I'm a little behind on my posts. I just have not had any energy whatsoever these days. Work, and just trying to keep my home running just about wipe me out anymore. And I still have a husband and my two kids that need attention too! But, besides being pretty exhausted by the end of every day, things are going well. John continues to grow and learn and make us smile every day. Mel is doing really good as well. She has been excited about Halloween all month and she is doing SO good in school. She amazes us more and more.
We got lucky this year. We met up with some neighbors and went to a new, local pumpkin patch. It was BEAUTIFUL out and Mel and John were both in good spirits. You never know with kids...but, they had a great time. Got to ride a little train and a boat. And Mel rode a pony. She is finally getting over her fear of many things and really enjoyed herself. Mel picked all our pumpkins, and of course had to pick the biggest ones she could find. It was a good afternoon though for sure.
