Melanie turned seven this past Sunday, June 27th...10:07 a.m...still remember that day like it was a week ago. I still can't believe the changes I see in Mel from year to year and what a wonderful, adventurous, loving girl she has become - I couldn't be more proud of her.
The pics are out of order, dang it! But, we had Mel's party at the park again this year. Rood Bridge Park is beautiful with lots of grounds and a play structure and we had a covered area for the party. We also discovered the creek this year, which would explain why the kids are wet in some of these pics. Besides the park and all it has to offer, we also decorated cookies, had tattoos and face painting and had a scavenger hunt. So it was a fast paced and fun party for sure. Almost 40 of Mel's friends and family showed up, so we had a good gathering. It was months in the planning but it all came out great. We had beautiful, sunny, 80 degree weather and Mel said it was the best birthday ever! That's all I can ask for - for Mel to enjoy herself and have memories to last her forever!
